JET JLP-A Series Lever Hoists combine safety, reliability, and durability that are designed to perform in light to medium-duty industrial applications. The patented brake wear Indicator increases safety by letting you know when to replace the friction disks. JET also offers the option of shipyard hooks, virtually eliminating stretched hooks caused by point or tip loading. The JET JLP-A Lever Hoist is available in 1/4-ton to 6-ton capacities with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet (custom lifts available). The JET JLP-A Series is the perfect choice for a contractor grade lever hoist.
- LOAD-TESTED, WITH CERTIFICATE: Every JLP-050A-10 is proof-tested to 125% of its 1,000 lb rated capacity and ships with its own test certificate. It complies with ANSI/ASME B30.21 and HST-3, the U.S. standards for manually lever-operated chain hoists.
- A BRAKE YOU CAN CHECK: The all-steel, powder-coated body encloses a Weston-style automatic brake with twin opposing pawls that split the load across the ratchet gear. A brake wear indicator on the handwheel shows when the friction discs are due for service, and the alloy steel hooks slowly stretch to warn of an overload.
- FOR LIGHT- TO MEDIUM-DUTY LIFTING AND PULLING: Use it vertically as a hoist, or at an angle or horizontally as a puller (come along), for rigging, maintenance, and equipment positioning up to 1,000 lb.
- COMPACT, LIGHT, AND QUICK TO RIG: Weighs 6.8 lb with 10 ft of 4.3 mm Grade 80 black-oxide load chain. Minimum headroom is 10-1/16 in., the lever is 8-7/16 in., and the hook throat is 1-3/8 in. Lifting the full rated load takes about 86 lb of lever pull. A three-position UP / N / DN selector adds a no-load free-chain mode for fast slack take-up.
- WHAT'S IN THE BOX, PLUS LIFETIME WARRANTY: Includes the lever hoist with 10 ft load chain and top and bottom hooks with cast-steel safety latches, the operating and parts manual, a test certificate, and a product registration card. A storage case is not included. Backed by JET's limited lifetime warranty on manual hoists and a nationwide authorized service center network.
