Built to withstand the high-volume demands of even the busiest shops, this high-quality machine grinds, sharpens, and smooths with equal precision for flawless results.
- 1 HP MOTOR, CAST-IRON BUILD: A 1 HP capacitor-start induction motor drives both 8-inch wheels at 3,450 RPM. The base, motor housing, inner wheel guards and tool rests are cast iron, and four rubber feet sit under a 54 lb machine, so the grinder stays planted when you lean a workpiece into the wheel.
- TWO WHEELS, TWO JOBS: The left side carries an 8 x 1 in., 36-grit vitrified aluminum oxide grinding wheel for shaping, stock removal and restoring edges. The right side carries an 8 x 1/2 in. crimped steel wire wheel with plated copper for stripping rust, scale, paint and burrs.
